In this course you
will learn how to paint realistically looking real life objects. We will paint
a still life. We will start by drawing the composition first and then we will
focus on how light and shadow influences it, and how they build shapes
together. You will learn how to mix oil colors, how to layer the paint and how
to make the composition look lively and real.
The course is suitable for people with no experience or little experience in
painting and drawing. If you have painted in another medium but have never
tried oils before, this course is also for you.
You need to bring your own materials for the course. You need to have old
clothes while painting because oil paints make stains. A list of materials will
be sent out to you shortly before the course starts. The
course is taught in English.
I'm educated in
teaching arts with specialization in oil painting and portrait. My teaching
experience spreads across different age groups - from
kindergarten children to adults. I tailor my teaching to everyone's
specific needs, so I can help you learn realistic painting and drawing, as well
as discover and develop your own path and style as an artist.
In addition to being an artist and teacher, I'm an UX/UI designer and
crafter.
