Unlock your creativity and discover the joy of
spontaneous performance with other adults in Improv for All! This course is
perfect for improv beginners who want to explore the fundamentals of
improvisational theatre in a fun, supportive environment and for those who
simply enjoy playful activities, light socializing, and silly fun.
What You
Will Learn:
Basic Improv
Principles: Understand the core concepts of improv, including the
“Yes, and” philosophy, active listening, and supporting your scene partners. Improv Games
and Exercises: Engage in a variety of classic improv games and
exercises designed to boost your spontaneity and confidence. Teamwork
and Collaboration: Develop skills to work harmoniously with others,
enhancing your ability to think on your feet and adapt to any situation. Course Format: The Introduction to Improv class includes weekly
2-hour sessions over 8 weeks. Each session will feature a mix of instruction,
hands-on practice, and group activities to reinforce learning and encourage
creativity. Prerequisites: No prior improv or acting experience is required. This
class is open to anyone with a willingness to participate and have fun. Who Should Take This Course: This course is ideal for anyone interested in
exploring the art of improv. Whether you’re an aspiring actor, looking to
improve your public speaking and presentation skills, or simply seeking a fun

American performer, director, and teaching artist who has recently relocated to
Aarhus. William is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute
for Design and the Arts and has 15+ years of experience performing for the
stage and screen, teaching acting, directing improvisation, facilitating arts
programs, narrating audiobooks, and developing immersive performances for
audiences.
